Local Photographer Excels in International Photo Contest

The National Photo Awards, based in Minnesota, USA, has announced the winners of its annual photo competition.  The contest is juried by a panel of national level judges and is now into its third year.  The winning photographs are posted on the website: www.NationalPhotoAwards.com.

Diane C. Nicholson (Twin Heart Photo Productions), a professional photographer and photo-artist from Armstrong, BC Canada, won Awards of Excellence in the competition for her entries in the Animal category (First Born) and the Digitally Enhanced category (Arabian Night); both in the Professional division.

“I’m very pleased to have two more awards added to these images,” Nicholson said.  “They have been so well received by the public that it’s great to have more industry judges appreciate them.

Nicholson’s art is currently displayed and for sale at the newly re-opened (new owners) Saxon Inn’s restaurant in Armstrong.
